So Friday I met with Tony after work- I'd given him a couple choices of things to do- see Jess in French Kisses at WorkShop, or see starkeee in Kool Obz at Wings. He wasn't initially sure if he wanted to go out or not, but as soon as I got there, he wanted to do both.

Sent in two one-acts for The LSU Department of Theatre's Outworks 2008, "a festival of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or queer (LGBTQ) themed one-act plays". Sent them Pinhead and Six Silences in Three Movements.
I like festivals that don't charge and let you apply by E-mail.

Since I had the day off yesterday, I made an attempt at cooking country-fried steak (one of my favorite foods).  It came out very well, though I messed up the sausage gravy by using soy milk instead of real milk; it ended up becoming a gelatinous mass of sausagey goop (which was still pretty tasty, though not, by any means, "gravy").  I have some ( Read more... )

Playwrighting group was interesting last night- I didn't have anything new to read, myself, but Elana and a new guy, Terry, both brought stuff.
